The orange is the product of a cross between the pomelo and the mandarin happened over 4,000 years ago. It is therefore a hybrid citrus fruit grown in the Mediterranean area and rich in vitamins useful for memory and muscle tone . Among its other beneficial properties, it purifies the body, boosts metabolism , and is excellent for treating asthenia, anorexia, and capillary fragility.

Ingredients for the non-alcoholic version:

• 120 ml fresh orange juice

• 60 ml sparkling water or soda

• 20 ml grenadine syrup

• Ice

• Orange slice for decoration

Procedure:

1. Fill a tall glass with ice.

2. Pour in the orange juice and mix.

3. Add the sparkling water.

4. Slowly add the grenadine for the “sunset” effect.

5. Garnish with a slice of orange.

For an alcoholic twist, add 40ml of light rum or vodka.
